Listed UNESCO world heritage and probably the most famous monument in France, the Eiffel Tower located on the left bank of the Seine offers the best panoramic views of Paris. Designed by French engineer Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 World Fair, the Tower has never ceased to attract crowds. It offers spectacular illuminations at night and has recently been equipped with a breath-taking glass floor on the first level.
The Trocadero Esplanade is situated on the right bank of the Seine, exactly opposite the Eiffel Tower. This large esplanade affords prime views of the Tower and is an ideal spot for photographers. The Trocadero, which is just 2 metro stops from our hotel, is also home to restaurants, cafés and terraces, and to several interesting museums including the Marine Museum or the Musée de l’Homme.
